It is well-known that one of the ways to be admitted to the university is to distinguish yourself by some sports achievements. But it is not easy to choose that one kind of sports where you can show all your abilities. Here we have several advices which may help young athletes become a sports start known all over the world.
Firstly, body strength and body type are important for all kinds of sports. So, begin with your strength, you should check your skills concerning running, throwing, dexterity, eye-hand coordination and eye-sight. And also take into consideration such factors as weight and height.
When you find out about your skills, you have to make list of those kinds of sports which you would like to try. It is probable that you will begin with basketball, football, baseball, and hockey. It is possible to add to this list tennis, volleyball, golf and track-and-field. When the list is composed, move from one kind of sport to other and see if it is suitable for you.
And don’t forget one important moment – the main thing is your desire to practice chosen kind of sport. You may be the perfect candidate to the basketball team, but if you don’t like it, you won’t achieve success. But from other side, you like football very much, but your weight doesn’t correspond to the requirements, so in this case you may not come back from your first workout.
